Owning

You won’t have any obligation regarding your property other than to limit its use to that which is permitted for its designated category according to local planning legislation and the law, and to keep it properly maintained.

The local authority can order certain refurbishments for cultural or technical purposes.

If your property shares assets with other owners, as it always will in the case of a flat, you should be aware of community fees that you will have to pay as well as proportional participation in the cost of any non-routine repairs or installations such as a lift, telecommunication services, and so on, that may be agreed by the community members in a majority vote.
